Toast Sacramento 2010

April 14, 2010
Sacramento, California

The Coalition for Clean Air welcomed more than 140 clean air supporters—from dignitaries to wine enthusiasts—to celebrate our 2nd annual A Toast to Clearing the Air reception on April 14. The evening’s fresh spring air contributed to the amiable atmosphere at the historic Sutter Club, where guests enjoyed fine sustainable wines and sparkling conversations with our featured guest, Assembly Speaker John Pérez.

Drawing from his experiences representing the district with the most asthma cases in the state, Pérez delivered a poignant message that our work is not yet finished. Following a Q&A, attendees left inspired to tackle the clean air challenges ahead.

The event was indeed a toast-worthy success, raising more than $60,000 towards our vital work in reducing air pollution in California. The Coalition for Clean Air thanks its generous sponsors, wineries, musicians and guests for the event’s grand success.   We look forward to seeing you at next year’s event!
